Kitchen Design

Here we were working on laying out the kitchen.

Framing and Roof

Not too many pictures of the actual framing process, should be able to see how it is all put together.

Shear walls are replaced by a doubled up 2x12 that flows the entire way around the top of the walls.

The shot directly below was taken from the road that goes down to the water.  Makes the house look alot bigger from that angle.

Deck

Next on the list was the deck.  Lots of space and we put a ramp on the side of the house that makes the property wheel chair accessible.  

Floor Joists

e decided to go with Timber Truss for all the engineered joists and truss,  there were a few problems working the staircase into the design but after some consultation between the manufacturer and the building inspector a plan was approved.
